Question ONE: What are some mental health issues that arise amongst Menopausal and Perimenopausal women in Singapore?
Menopause can have significant effects on our emotions and due to other stressors that we may already have, it is not uncommon for one to feel overwhelmed and unable to cope. Some effects are increased irritability, more anxiety, difficulty sleeping and depressed mood.
Of course, effects vary and some women experience worse symptoms than others.
