Hello, I am Dr June Tan Sheren!

Dr. June Sheren is a distinguished Family Physician with over two decades of experience, specializing in women's health and menopause care. A graduate of the National University of Singapore, Dr. Sheren obtained her MBBS in 1997, followed by a Masters of Medicine in Family Medicine. Her extensive career has been dedicated to providing holistic and preventive healthcare for children, adolescents, and adults, with a particular focus on women’s health.

Expertise and Specializations

Dr. Sheren is renowned for her expertise in menopause management, advocating for increased awareness and education on this vital aspect of women’s health. A member of the Australasian Menopause Society, she stays abreast of developments and evidence-based guidelines on menopause care on an international front. With a career spanning over two decades, Dr Sheren has witnessed significant shifts and evolution in menopause treatment and understands its profound impact on women. She believes that knowledge is empowering and that menopause awareness should be accessible to all. She encourages women to "Make More Noise over Menopause" right here in Singapore.

In addition to her specialization in women’s health, Dr. Sheren is uniquely qualified in the field of Performing Arts Medicine. Holding a Masters in Performing Arts Medicine with Distinction from University College London, she is the only doctor in Singapore with formal qualifications in this niche field. Her passion for the performing arts extends to her role as Medical Advisor to the Singapore Symphony Orchestra and her work with the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, where she runs a dedicated clinic for musicians.

Community Involvement

Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Sheren is deeply involved in non-profit work focused on education. She serves on the advisory board of Surety, contributing her medical expertise to initiatives aimed at improving midlife women's health. Additionally, she is a board trustee for Caring for Cambodia, a charity she has supported for the past decade.
